Transparent Logon supports a self service password reset mode. When users navigate to this instance, they receive a reset password by email which needs to be changed the first time they logon to JD Edwards. Complete the fields in the E-Mail settings tab to enable this functionality.
Enter the URL of an SMTP server able to sent the email with the reset password to the Active Directory users.
Enter the portnumber of the SMTP service on the SMTP server.
Choose the SMTP transport mode. When in doubt select SMTP.
Enter the email address that is the originator email address of password reset mails sent by Transparent Logon.
Enter the password for the sender of the password reset email.
Enter the subject line to use in password reset emails sent by Transparent Logon.
